Laura Bell is the ultimate indie-pop artist, perfect for those looking for a cool ‘triple j’ edge with an upbeat vibe. After releasing her EP in 2014, she’s gone on to perform at some of Sydney’s most prestigious venues, festivals including “A Day On The Green” and many more.

Laura is an indie pop singer-songwriter based in Sydney, originally hailing from the coastal town of Port Macquarie. Life for this free-spirited 26 year old revolves around friends, family, fun and of course, music!
Until recently Laura had formed one half of the acoustic indie-pop duo ‘Laura & Bruno’. Their effortless harmonies, raw lyrics and captivating live shows saw them perform at venues such as White Revolver, Café Lounge, live on 99.3 FM’s ‘Jumping With James’, the Brass Monkey supporting ‘Microwave Jenny’ and the Festival of the Sun after party.
Laura’s extensive experience in all styles of music has made her a versatile and well-rounded performer. Her musical accomplishments include graduating from the prestigious Talent Development Project in 2005 alongside 11 other talented musicians including two-time Golden Guitar nominee Katrina Burgoyne, Australian Idol’s Roshani Priddis and Aria Award winner Angus Stone.
Laura has entertained at numerous events throughout NSW including the Sony Foundation Christmas Party at the MCG alongside Guy Sebastian and hosted by Eddie McGuire, and ‘A Day On The Green’ alongside Wendy Matthews, Christine Anu and Tim Freedman. One of Bell’s highlights was receiving a scholarship in 2009 which sent her to New York City to train for 4 weeks with numerous musical masterminds and perform at various venues including the “Don’t Tell Mamma” cabaret club.
