Optus Pacesetters Events in Fiji

Our very own Groove Academy band performed at 2 special events at the Optus 'Pacesetters' conference in Fiji. The first event was a seriously fun 'Gilligan's Island' theme beach party on the beautiful Bounty Island in Fiji.

Guests feasted on the delights of a traditional Fijian BBQ & amazing fresh fruit. Then it was time to party to the funky dance tunes of The Groove Academy band. The guests danced all night on the sand & had an absolute ball!

After the conference concluded on the Saturday night, a gala dinner was held at the amazing Sheraton Resort in Fiji. The theme was 'Cafe Del Mar' with guests & tables dressed in sleek white. It was time for the guests to let their hair down as they danced all night to the funky dance tunes of The Groove Academy. "This is the best party we've ever had", claimed an Optus representative.



The Groove Academy features the sultry vocals of Michelle Martinez, the sax brilliance of Ross Middleton, the infectious grooves of percussionist, Aykho Akrhif, and DJ Scott Pullen.
