After another successful tour playing at this year Winter Music Conference in Miami, Alex Almeida is fast becoming hot property as both DJ and producer and is constantly pushing house music to the world. He has several well-received studio productions released through Open Bar Music (NYC) and Baldeelox Records (UK), as well as his own label Rhythm Selector Recordings, which have been compared to ground breaking artists like Roger Sanchez, Dennis Ferrer, Axwell, Fedde Le Grand, Mark Knight and Grant Nelson. His diversity in music is reflected through his DJ sets which have amazed club goers across the globe.




In 2009, Alex has launched of his own global digital download store, Rhythm Selector and music label (Rhythm Selector Recordings). The download store houses some of the biggest names in dance at the moment like DeadMau5, Felix Da Housecat, Chris Lake, Pete Tong, Stanton Warriors and Noir. His label Rhythm Selector Recordings is quickly gaining the attention of the Top DJs of the world with its initial releases.

But at the end of the day Alex still has not let go of his real love, DJing.
