Styles: Upfront House & Tech House
Adam Coverdale Originally from the Bristol in the UK, Adam Coverdale migrated to Sydney nearly six years ago with one goal in mind – to bring music to the masses! As soon as you are first introduced to Adam’s style, technical skill and energy, you immediately know why he is one of the most loved and loyal DJs in the Australian dance industry today. Adam is not only a DJ but also an entertainer, ensuring that every patron enjoys their time by putting on a real show.
With a DJ career that has spanned across the UK and Australia for over 11 years, Adam has played across the UK and at every major club in Sydney including Chinese Laundry, Home, Yu, Candy’s Apartment, Tank, The Cross, Dragonfly, Le Panic, Moulin Rouge, and ARQ and is as likely to be found pumping out solid house beats on sun-kissed Bondi Beach supporting Norman Jay at Gatecrasher on Christmas Day, as he is to be whipping up 7am clubbers into a frenzy at some underground after party in the dark recesses of Kings Cross. In addition, Adam is also a regular feature at the annual Playground Weekender Camping and Music Festival in Sydney and is well known for his outrageous poolside party sets!

In the short time he has been in Sydney, Adam has also managed to build a large following through his tireless promotion work and DJ gigs and has received outstanding reviews from national titles and websites including 3D Word, inthemix.com.au and The Brag. Depending on the venue, Adam plays a range of underground styles, covering old skool, ‘back 2 ’95’ house sets, funky but dirty beats and tension-filled tech house and has played alongside renowned internationals such as Tom Middleton, Alan Thompson, Mobin Master and Tom Neville in recent months. His individual style of combining floor pumping sets with his natural ability to entertain means it’s safe to say that regardless of genre, Adam is an impressive DJ to watch up close or from any dance floor.
And if all that wasn’t enough, on arriving in Sydney in August 2003 Adam went onto launch Lookin’ Good!, one of Sydney’s most popular house nights which takes place monthly at The Cross, one of Australia’s most well known and respected venues. Having recently celebrated its 5th birthday, Lookin’ Good! has firmly cemented its place as a Sydney clubbing institution for those who wanna get down and dirty to party house tunes galore, and continues to feature big room house, minimal and tech house across two rooms.
